Fall 2020, I took a trip to PA to visit a dear friend… Suffice to say, I took a lot of photos during my stay (as always when I travel to new places). As I rifled through the images back home there was something familiar about them… I looked back at the photos my PA friend had sent me earlier that year in the summer. Comparing my photos to hers, I realized that my photos were of the same exact railroad, trails, and streams captured at roughly the same angles as her photos… Super weird discovery and definitely not planned!

This project is a tribute to friendship and all kinds of relationships. I handpicked some quotes to pair with these paintings in order to shed light on some authors I had enjoyed reading at the time. Hope you enjoy them too!
