Ten years ago, I taught my first official art classes for a 6 week period with the help of my family. Messy times and goofy memories. Today, I get to substitute teach in my local school district and am slowly realizing that teaching might have been the dream all along... But who knows where this may lead? I have always been on the lookout for different opportunities and work experiences. Life is crazy, but ain't it funny how it can also send you in one full circle?

Plein air painting highlights over the year... Not gonna post anything long here for New Year's Eve even though this year has been filled with all kinds of new experiences and adventures for me in my personal life. After the adrenaline rush of work and regular life craziness, the solitude and quiet of painting on site surrounded by nature is something special that I hope to continue do more of in 2022.
